Saturday June 19th is going to be epic. It’s sure to be an amazing night as Bird Peterson and Willy Joy are throwing down. This will be my U Street Music Hall DJ debut. Holy Ghost! have released a string of hit remixes for artists like MGMT, Cut Copy, Phoenix, and Moby, and traveled across the world DJ’ing on almost every continent. Their newly released EP “Static On The Wire” displays a brand of infectious dance pop with frequent inclusion of ’80s synthesizers flashing softly throughout, while bass and clavinet maintain a deep funk beneath the duo’s sexy, ethereal pillow talk vocals.
