For the first time in 6 years I stayed in on a Saturday night just to rest my liver up for this weekend. Well, I blew that off on Sunday getting shit tanked on the deck of Marvin then heading over to Velvet Lounge to act a fool for the Moombahton music video shoot. It was so crazy that cameras would only record sideways? Look at that pendejas in the wife beater jumpin around like a “Kansas City faggot”.
This weekend I get to be the DC ambassador to Baltimore starting Friday night at Ottobar with James Nasty. Did I mention I’m sneaking in a George Foreman Grill?
Saturday we take the traveling shit show to Bourbon St for the debut of Bass Drop. Holy Santa Claus Shit, this line up is HUGE. Jack Beats, Breakage, King Tutt, Uncle Jesse, James Nasty, Soohan, and a shit ton of other great DJ’s on 3 different areas of music. The winner is none other than DJ Who gives a shit because the only reason he got the gig is because he won a popularity contest on Facebook. This is probably the worst decision I’ve seen since Brett Favre decided to comeback but at least Brett had a shred more dignity before he left? So “ABC” Promoter brings Tiesto to DC for a US Tour even though the bama plays in Vegas all the time which shows you how up to speed Las Vegas is…. Here’s how the real joke is on all of the DJ’s who kept blowing up my Facebook and email begging me to vote for them so they can open for the epic white pants wearing rainbow douche when he comes to DC.
What the clueless contestants had to do is start a Facebook Event page to use as a voting poll. The person with the most “Attending” clicks is the winner. Of course you had to put in the event title “Vote [insert your name here] to play at Tiesto at Glow! Sat at DC Armory!” Regardless if a DJ wins or loses, he is sending that particular message out to all of his friends that Tiesto is coming to play in DC. So as the DJ’s are bending over backwards spamming people and begging friends to vote for them, their giving free promotion to “ABC” Promoter. On top of that the promoter can hawk all of the “attending” list for future promoting events on Facebook. What most of the DJ’s also don’t know is that this being done in every city that Tiesto is touring in. Same contest is going on in Chicago as it is here. Tiesto’s agency or even the clubs for that matter couldn’t give a fuck who is opening for him as long as they don’t stink up the joint. Here is the kicker. This thing could be rigged anyway. I read the rules off of the promoters website.

If Tiesto management doesn’t like your demo then you’re fucking out. All that whoring for nothing. The winners still haven’t been announced yet but I think the whole thing smells like Epic Camel dick. What I can’t figure out is why people still would still spend money to go see the dude. It’s the same shit over and over. The same Scatman remix along with awful train wrecking. I don’t know how he gets away with it after all these years……

So enough free promotion for that event that will be held at the asshole of Washington DC and fingers crossed you even make it out alive in that neighborhood. April 9th I’m doing a show in Baltimore with STEEZ Promo at Bourbon St. It’s a World Class line up with JACK BEATS headlining along with a performance from Breakage. I will be there waving the DC flag while team Baltimore: Uncle Jesse, King Tutt, James Nasty, and Soohan put on what has the feeling of being a memorable one to say the least.
