I love it when Shane Smith stops by the Joe Rogan podcast and talks about his world adventures. That dude has gone to more places and seen more shit than everyone in my town combined. He also runs my favorite site, VICE. This episode is 3 hours of mind blowing discussion while boozing and smoking weed. Whats not to like?
Very exciting stuff this week with VICE putting out a 7 episode story that talks about Mitt Romney’s dad who is in a Mormon colony in Mexico, in a war with Mexican drug cartels. That in itself is too good to make up but it’s true. Joe Rogan and Shane Smith go back and forth in a very mind opening, powerful conversation about politics that was eye opening for me and I don’t even follow politics. Here are parts 1 and 2 of the VICE story on Romney.
I don’t do politics much at all or get heated about social issues because I’m just too god damn lazy. Recently I’ve been reading and watching videos related to the Westboro Baptist Church, a cult collection of some of the most off the fucking wall people who you’ll ever hear talk. To their credit, they are probably one of the most elite trolling groups in the world. On the other hand, they protest what they actually think is true so it’s kind of not even trolling but just batshit insanity. I came across this video just released from VICE where they interviewed a family that has been in there for 17 years. One of the guys serves as the “propaganda” minister that makes videos to brainwash children. Here is a two part video that will blow your mind and make you realize that no matter what you do to contribute to society, there will always be a small part of population that are just bad fuckin people. Ugghh…. side note: Fred Phelps is wearing a Vikings jersey in part 2

This was hands down the greatest Joe Rogan podcast to date. VICE owner and journalist Shane Smith stopped by hungover from a weekend drinking bender in Vegas to talk about some of the most mind blowing shit I’ve ever heard going on in the world. He talks about interviewing a Taliban officer who recruits child suicide bombers. In addition to talking about some of the most fucked up places on earth, he goes into this thing called the “Bangkok Body Snatchers”, this group in Thailand who preys on people who needs medical emergency’s and kidnap them, let them die, then resell their organs. WTF! Joe and Shane also go into this Colombian drug called Scopolamine. I highly recommend this podcast as it will blow your fucking mind.

My go to on the internet to get my mind BLOWN away is on the VICE. They have articles on there that can open your eyes on the world without leaving your couch. Shane Smith is one of my favorite reporters on there traveling around to the most fucked up, shit storm places in the world and reporting it while managing not to get killed. One of the videos I came across recently was so fucking dope, I had to post it up here. This is a rave on the Black Sea in an abandoned nuclear reactor called KAZAHTHN. after watching, I immediately checked my bank funds to see how the fuck I can get in the mix. Hope the rave heads of HOR enjoy this as much as I did.
